We're far from early adopters & voracious social networkers. We've got a couple of twitter feeds, one for the museum & one by the museum snake (links in my signature). We've got a facebook page and a couple of us have separate fb IDs (again, see my sig).
As for G+, as far as I can tell it's designed for personal interactions rather than organisational ones. I have a personal account & a "Museums" circle where I share stuff with other museum types, I'm up-front about where I work. It's not really official & I don't really use it much for the trad uses of social networking (ie marketing).
No idea whether that helps

I'm interested, especially in the light of new Social Media items like Google+, how other small museums are working to produce an online presence. At Dartmouth Museum we're new to managing our own web presence. We thing we're Ok at it, but that could be arrogance! We want to improve
We'll take any comments on board and will be more than happy for suggestions. MInd you I'm not necessarily sure this is what the group here is for, but what the heck!
We tweet at https://twitter.com/#!/DartmouthMuseum and it's relatively easy to find new things to tweet about
We are on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/DartmouthMuseum and it;s not as easy as finding new things to tweet about
We're online at http://dartmouthmuseum.org/ and we're regularly updating the website when we have something to say
Are you doing anything we aren't? Are we doing anything you aren't? Do you think we're doing something well, or badly? We're not proud! We'll take all good advice.
And we're really happy to follow you on Twitter and Like you on Facebook if you tell us what to follow and what to like.
