Good News for Local Historians!
The North Craven Historical Research Group (NCHRG) Archive is now available
to view on line through the group's Website:-
The archive contains a vast quantity of information such as transcribed
Parish Records; Tithe Surveys; Censuses; Photographs; Wills; Deeds; Maps;
Journal Articles etc.
The Archive is available for personal research only and any material used
from it should be acknowledged as such
Instructions for accessing the main archive
1.Open nchrg web site. www: northcravenhistoricalresearch
Then click NEW (flashes in red) members news and projects reports.
2.Click NEW (it also flashes red) Project Progress and Reports located just
below our journal index's /.NCHRG Members login to archive.
3.In welcome page log in as member or public access - login and password are
both public.
4.Click FILE viewer icon top right (should open data search
engine)Ajaxplorer.
5.Select and click on a yellow folder e.g. indexed pdf.
This will bring up a list of files in that folder which can be searched
using normal protocols.
