My background is law. The citation is for the old Beavan reports which the
English Reports took over.

Peppercorne being the defendant - I was hoping the lawyer would be listed
(i.e. point you to archives). It seems not. It lists his profession as a
stockbroker, I don't know if there's specific archives for this trade.
This was HL case, i.e. the highest court so it probably got reported in a
newspaper. Have you checked The Times?
