Thanks for the heads-up - I shall have a look at the lib-stats archives. Yes, I have just heard that there is interest in a new project to tie instituional ID to publisher, in order to track usage with more granularity.

Depends what you want it to do. Raptor looks at Shib and EZproxy logs - but not fine-grained enough for us @ncl as wanted to map FT users to resources. But ...if you write code for post authentication and somehow figure a way to enable tracking of FT for every single publisher then please make it open source. I just can't imagine the size of such files!
Think log-analysis of e-js is on the JISC radar?
