Dear all
The Edinburgh AGS conference, 2-4 April 2012, will feature a new (and
hopefully regular) panel on Translation in its many and varied forms.
The Translation Panel invites contributions dealing with any facet of
translation involving the German language (broadly defined), from any
period: translation theory, analyses of translations, accounts of the
work of translators or the status of translation and the translator in
German-language cultural history, presentation and discussion of
translation work in progress, aspects of translation pedagogy, etc.
Contributions may take the form of 20-minute papers plus discussion,
or a more open workshop format, as appropriate: please contact the
panel convener with proposals for papers or sessions.
Proposals for papers should be 150-200 words.
Convener: Peter Davies (Edinburgh); [log in to unmask]
With best wishes
Peter
