Please find below an invitation to two special events in the week 20-26th November at the Institute for German Studies in Birmingham. Please alert postgraduates in your institution; we are pleased to be able to cover the travel and accommodation costs for PGs attending either/both events, and there is the opportunity to meet and have dinner with the speakers/artist. For those wishing to attend and requiring accommodation or travel expenses, please register with us by Monday October 14th (for the 21st November event) or Friday 18th (for 25th November). Identity and memory in the work of Kerstin Honeit
Kerstin Honeit is a German video artist, filmmaker and photographer. She will be presenting photographs from her series “Becoming 10” (http://www.kerstinhoneit.com/), followed by a discussion of image, identity, and memory, with curator and photographer Ellie Clarke.
