Dear colleagues,
we would like to draw your attention to the session GMPV5.5 “Batholith formation in space and time” at the EGU meeting held from 22 – 27 April 2012 in Vienna. This session aims to bring together a broad range of topics on research concerning the evolution of plutonic complexes such as phase petrology on crystallizing magmas, rheological properties of magmas, emplacement mechanism, high-resolution timing/dating of magmatic pulses, numerical modeling as well as thermal impact on host rocks. You are invited to submit an abstract to this session (GMPV5.5) online until the 17th of January 2012 at the official homepage of the EGU 2012 (http://www.egu.eu/).
