Dear Jake,
It will most likely be the temporal derivatives that are increasing the
PEs. If you look at your design matrix you should see that it has
12 columns.
The fact that you have 6 zstat and 6 cope images is because you
must have 6 COPEs. It is not equal to the number of EVs (which
will be 12 in this case).
