Introducing London Drawing:
London Drawing is a collaboration between professional artists, tutors and performers, led by Anne Noble-Partridge and David Price.
London Drawing events use the human figure as a visual prompt through which participants can interpret artistic concepts and performance and aim to radically reinvent the traditional concept of drawing from life. We aim to produce unique drawing workshops, which are engaging, inspiring and entirely relevant to contemporary practice. Our workshops promote a genuine creative exchange between artist / performer, where the audience / participant is no longer passive but engaged in the creative process. Over the past six years we have worked with major institutions such as Tate Modern, Tate Britain, The Barbican Gallery, The Design Museum, The V&A, Battersea Arts Centre and the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Our workshops are completely accessible - working on the premise that no skills or drawing experience are needed to make strong and exciting work. This approach has proved genuinely stimulating and engaging for all levels of ability, from beginners to professional artists.

We are really excited to be working with Marega Palser from the Mr & Mrs Clark Performance Company for the December edition of The Drawing Theatre. Marega is a dancer and performance artist and will be basing the event around her latest production 'Sometimes We Look', a site specific combination of dance, drawing and animation.
This promises to be immersive and exciting happening - a chance to really explore the body, movement, expression and gesture definitely not to be missed.
