Dear all,
I have created a Doodle poll [5] for a one-hour telecon at 11:00 EST on one of
the weekdays between 12 and 25 December (17:00 Amsterdam) of the Schema.org
Alignment Task Group [1].
The purpose of the call will be:
-- to clarify the "immediate issues" listed at [3] regarding the preparation
and publication of mappings;
-- to discuss the specific alignments as proposed by Bernard Vatant [2].
Our immediate goal should be to agree on a set of mappings, and on a way to
publish those mappings, so that they can be listed on the Schema.org mappings
page [4].
Beyond that, we should discuss the "longer-term issues" listed at [3]. Should
DCMI have a group (such as a re-oriented Usage Board) that routinely and
periodically considers mapping proposals? How should mappings be versioned (e.g.,
with Mercurial or Git)?
Dan has limited network availability for the next two weeks, so I'd like to aim
at preparing the call with discussion on this list in the week of 2-9 December.
As agreed in The Hague, we will be using this mailing list, dc-architecture
[6], for discussion.
