Subject: [Gender] Women and Gender: GJSS Special Edition: Sexuality in Focus: Deadline: 30 Jan 2012
***Please Circulate Widely***
The Graduate Journal of Social Sciences (GJSS) invites papers for its December 2012 special edition on Sexuality in Focus. This issue is inspired by the Network of Interdisciplinary Women’s Studies in Europe (NOISE) 2011 Summer School, which was hosted by the University of Utrecht (the Netherlands). This year’s theme was ‘The Miraculous (dis)appearing Act of Sexuality: Mapping the Study of Sexuality in Europe, 1960-2010’. Central to this summer school was the exploration of what has appeared in discourses of sexualities and what has been missing. The special issue aims to further explore this complex and multifaceted subject of sexualities.
Please see the attached CfP for more details!
Completed papers should be submitted by the deadline of the January 30th 2012. Papers should be 6000-8000 words.
Please send your finished article and any further enquiries regarding this edition to our guest editors: Arpita Das, Ebtihal Mahadeen and Annelies Kleinherenbrin: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
