We take great pleasure in announcing that our department will host the
international conference about Chinese for Specific Purposes (CSP) and
teaching Chinese culture.
Due to the high demand for Chinese language education worldwide, the
world is in urgent need of more and better comprehension of Chinese
cultures and Chinese professions. Currently, CSP and teaching Chinese
cultures are added to the college and school curriculum, and, therefore,
it is necessary now to build a platform for discussions about CSP and
teaching Chinese culture.
We, therefore, invite papers investigating all aspects of CSP and
teaching Chinese culture with a view to furthering our understanding of
their past, current, and future developments in terms of teaching
methodologies, curriculum planning, teaching strategy, and other related
topics such as computer technology.
Possible topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
Business Chinese
Newspaper Chinese
Legal Chinese
Medical Chinese
Academic Chinese
Technology Chinese
Chinese for tour-guiding
Teaching Chinese religions
Teaching Chinese holidays and festivals
Teaching Chinese life and cultures
