We¹d like to invite you to submit films for the film strand at the EASA
Conference held in Paris, Nanterre University, 10 13 July 2012.
This film programme will run throughout the conference showcasing the best
ethnographic films around the conference theme: Uncertainty and disquiet /
Incertitude et inquiétude

Deadline for submissions: 28 November 2011
The University of Nanterre (CNRS UMR 7186) and the VANEASA network will
organise a film programme throughout the conference. Films are invited that
explore the conference topic Œuncertainty and disquiet¹. They will be
screened during the four days of this biennial conference in the main
lecture hall.
To submit a film please visit the conference website,

Please supply under Œshort abstract¹ a summary of the content of your film.
Under Œlong abstract¹ please include the following additional information:
Director/filmmaker; Runtime in minutes; Year of production; Country of
Production; Location; Language (subtitles); Production/distribution.
Please note that as per the two-role rule, a filmmaker may not present a
film and a paper during the conference, unless the paper is directly based
around the film.
