At Warwick we use corner flaps with self-adhesive flaps.
The problem with the CDP design is that your desks and exam rooms are
likely to end up continually littered with discarded protective strips
(a problem which should not be under-estimated).

Subject: Exam Answer Books
At the University of Brighton we have been using a system of anonymity
of marking of examinations by using student numbers on the front of exam
answer books produced by our own Reprographics Department. I have been
asked to investigate commercial systems which involve the concealment of
names and theirsubsequent revelation for the preparation of exam board
papers.
I have received copies of answer books from CDP Print Managemment with
the "Infosafe" system which involves the folding back by the candidate
of a full length side strip onto a self-adhesive strip and the "careful"
tearing away of the protective strip by the person compiling the mark
sheets. This system is supposedly in widespread use. It has been marked
as "Patent Pending" for a long time. Perhaps this means that there is
not much choice out there (we have rejected the use of corner flaps with
lickable gummed corner flaps).
What have your experiences been of using Infosafe from CDP or of
alternative commercial products?
Thanks
