[EMS-NEWS]
The call for applications for the British Council Travel Bursaries to
Composers Scheme is now open. We would be grateful if you could share this
information around students, peers and colleagues.
The Bursaries to Composers scheme is designed to help promote British
contemporary music by assisting professional British composers, who are
resident in the UK, to travel overseas to attend significant presentations
of their work in major public venues and festivals.
The scheme is administered with guidance from members of a panel, drawn
from the British Council, Sound and Music and various other arts
organisations with a focus on music and sound.
The final deadline for applications in 2011-12 is Monday 6th February 2012.
