I.. I.. I can feel myself going all AAG; I can feel a panel coming on! Something like, "The canine insubordinate subordinate - rethinking the psycho-geographies of animal-human ethico-politics", or perhaps "Down Boy! Talking to Fido as if Fido Mattered."
Wow! It can be quite painful, coming over all cultural turny like that...

Subject: Re: OCCUPY DENVER ELECTS LEADER
This is the coolest piece of news I've heard in quite some time! In the spirit of recognizing Shelby's personhood, I can see synergies with the animal rights movement in fostering more widespread recognition that pigs, chickens, cows, and other sentient beings that are dehumanized(!) to the category of "meat" can also bleed, breed, and show emotion. For vegan geographies! And the anarchistic refusal of Occupy Denver to define its "leadership" on the terms of the state is pretty awesome too. :)
