The live recordings are available within half an hour or so of the broadcast ending.
In terms of tips the best tip is to
1) look at slide 4 or thereabouts which is normally the one that has the url for the learning object/s (LO)
2) play with the learning object and see which template examples you like.
3) Generally the video from slide 4 onwards goes through the individual pages created in the LO so if you like a slide near the end of the LO you'll find us talking about it near the end of the presentation.
Hope that helps. Glad your session went well.

The training I delivered at college this week went well, luckily we had xerte and xampp installed in case we had problems with the online sandpit - as it turned out we used both as there was disruptions to our network due to maintenance.
I have a day off on Friday so may not be able to join your session. I have been looking at the other pre-recorded sessions http://www.jisctechdis.ac.uk/techdis/pages/detail/online_resources/Xerte_online_training_sessions_2011 and will recommend them to staff, but as most staff do not have a lot of time to watch the whole recordings are there any tips on how they should view the sessions, eg should they just jump through the slides or do they need to watch the whole broadcast?
How long after the live sessions are the recorded sessions put on the website?
