Hello all,
Please see below for details of an event coming up at Wellcome Collection that may be of interest to list members:
Exchanges at the Frontier with Valerie Mizrahi
Thursday 20 October, 18.00-19.15
The event will feature Valerie Mizrahi, Director of the Institute of Infectious Disease and Molecular Medicine at the University of Cape Town, in conversation with philosopher AC Grayling about her work on HIV and TB in South Africa. The event is presented in partnership with the BBC World Service, and the audio recording of the event (including audience questions) will be made into a radio programme for broadcast in December 2011. This is therefore a great opportunity to question a world leading scientist on her work in infectious disease and health in the developing world, and to contribute to a discussion that will go out to an audience of millions.
The event is starts at 18.00 on Thursday 20 October. The event is free but tickets must be booked in advance through the website: http://www.wellcomecollection.org/whats-on/events/exchanges-at-the-frontier-81.aspx
I'd be delighted to see you there!
All the best,
Jenny
