Hi Anne,
I too have found this sight to contain invaluable information. I tend not comment as I find reading the replys signifcantly answer a lot of my questions.
I do hope you will consider staying.
Kind regards
Adel

Anne,
I heartily agree with your comments - all of them. As an inexperienced OHA a few years ago,
I left the list following what I perceived to be very supercilious and flippant comments
made to me by another subscriber. I decided that there was enough hassle in the job without
being challenged and put down in this manner outside of my working hours and, to be honest,
it knocked my confidence a fair bit.
However, I took the plunge recently and rejoined the list. I've received nothing but valuable
advice and support since I've been a member again. Nowhere else could I find the level of
expertise, freely given and shared as you mentioned. I can't put a value on how much it has
helped me in my daily working life as a lone OHA in a large company.
I view Jisc as a professional lifeline. I urge you to stay. Your advice and support in particular
helps more than you can possibly imagine.
