Hello
I am interested - how far would we have to come to pick it up? I'm at the Cole Museum in Reading.
Best wishes

I've just had an offer of a mounted Badger in a case, I haven't seen the specimen and I'm afraid there isn't a photo. We don't have a requirement for it here and wondered if anyone on the list either does or might know someone who would be interested.
Animal is c. 200 years old (shot by the great great Grandfather of a relative of the donor's wife).
Case measures 42" x 29" x 13" wooden carcass with glass front.
The animal is apparently in good condition and of a pale variety (I questioned the donor on this, to check it wasn't fading).
The donor doesn't think there is any locality data associated with the specimen.
If anyone is interested please or knows someone who might be get back to me by the end of the week and I will put the donor in touch with you.
Thanks
Peter
