Schools, colleges and libraries can be caught out by copyright, and it is a struggle to get teachers to stay within the law to avoid expensive lawsuits.
Delegates to this course will learn:
* How copyright protects different types of electronic content, in particular how it applies to web2.0 applications
* How to get the required permissions for use of other peoples' web content
* Risks involved in using third party content on web 2.0 applications, and how to minimise those risks

* mashups

* ownership issues in a world of information sharing
