This meeting showcases contributions from historical and archaeological metallurgists to excavators, historians and economists. Bringing together contract and public sector archaeologists with academic researchers; fostering links between the different disciplines studying metallurgy and related activities.
The day will feature a variety of papers on ancient, historical and industrial metallurgy presented by individuals at all stages of research. Whether you are a student, a researcher, an interested non-specialist, or a professional excavator, we invite you to attend this conference and meet others working in this field.
The cost for members of the Historical Metallurgy Society will be £15, non-members £20. Cost includes coffee, lunch and a reception. Registration is requested by Friday 4th November 2011 as places are limited. Registration forms as well as a programme for the conference can be found at:
