Dear Friends:
* EPC started an online petition campaign on Friday. We quickly realized that their was a glich in the program. The online petition to the Attorney General of Canada is now working.
Please send this link to all of your email contacts. The names will be sent to the Attorney General of Canada with the paper petition. Link to the online petition.<http://www.euthanasiaprevention.on.ca/signonline.htm>
The printed petition is available in French and English and can be downloaded form our website. Link to the Paper petition.<http://www.euthanasiaprevention.on.ca/petition.htm>
There is an online poll in an Hawaii newspaper asking: Should Hawaii's laws be amended to clearly allow physician-assisted suicide? PLEASE VOTE NO. Link to the online poll<http://www.staradvertiser.com/>. You will find the poll on the right hand side after scrollling down.
* Register for the one day Assisted suicide conference<http://www.euthanasiaprevention.on.ca/WebBrochure.pdf> on Friday, November 4, 2011 that has been sponsored by Living with Dignity - New Hampshire.
* The Canadian Press released an english article suggesting that the Quebec government "Dying with Dignity" committee will promote palliative care. Interestingly the French report suggests that Quebec will introduce a "new model." It looks like the Quebec government may borrow a tactic from South Australia. Read my report<http://alexschadenberg.blogspot.com/2011/10/quebec-committee-on-assisted-suicide.html>.
* An assisted suicide bill will be introduced in the Vermont legislature AGAIN. Link to the article.<http://alexschadenberg.blogspot.com/2011/10/assisted-suicide-being-proposed-in.html>
* It will cost an extraordinary amount of money for EPC to intervene in the Carter case. Help us intervene by making a donation today<http://www.euthanasiaprevention.on.ca/Donations.htm>.
EPC is once again raising money by selling Classic Art Christmas Cards. Link to the cards<http://www.euthanasiaprevention.on.ca/Cards%20promo%202011EPC.pdf>.
Thank you for your support
