Hi - I am still a fairly new Analysis user, but I have had a number of crashes over the last few months of use that all quit with the following error posted:
"
X Error of failed request: BadIDChoice (invalid resource ID chosen for this connection)
Major opcode of failed request: 144 (RENDER)
Minor opcode of failed request: 4 (RenderCreatePicture)
Resource id in failed request: 0x6f7837
Serial number of failed request: 40307889
Current serial number in output stream: 40312994

I am using an apple iMac running an up to date Snow Lepard OS (10.6), with XQuartz 2.6.3 (also most up to date). It is a 2.93 GHz i7 CPU, with 4 GB of memory. I start analysis2.1 (up to date) from the terminal with the '-m 756' flag, assigning it up to 3 GB of memory. I don't think I am running out of memory, and seem to remember it crashing before I was using this flag.
Is there something I am doing wrong? I will appreciate any help or advice that I can get.
Regards, Tom
