There is an immediate opening in the group of Dr. Lan Guan in the Department of Cell Physiology and Molecular Biophysics at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, Lubbock, TX, for the structure determination of sugar transport proteins by 3-D X-ray crystallography. This postdoctoral position requires strong backgrounds in membrane protein purification, crystallization, and crystal structure determination. Experience in molecular biology or membrane protein biochemistry will be an advantage. We have excellent research facilities for membrane protein purification and biophysical analyses, robotic crystallization screening, and in-house X-ray data collection and processing. Highly motivated candidates with a PhD in protein crystallography are encouraged to apply. Please send your CV and the names of three references to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
