Dear Colleagues
BIM the Literary Journal which served as the launch pad for the pioneers of the Caribbean Literary Tradition has been re-launched in the Literary Journal/Magazine BIM Arts For the 21st Century. Published since 2007; collaboratively by the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus and the Government of Barbados’ Ministry of Culture, keynote Caribbean literary magazine recommenced with an edition Celebrating Lamming. Over the past four years and nine titles later, under the Patron & Consultant Editor, George Lamming and Editor Esther Phillips, BIM Arts for the 21st Century has Celebrated Kamau in his 80th year, Caribbean Women Writers, Literary Godfather Frank Collymore and made special tribute to Haiti through literary and complementary visual work. BIM Arts is published twice a year, May and November and we boast a year round submission season.
BIM has featured works of the caribbean, diaspora and those in the field
For interested persons, BIM is available through subscription, I have attached the subscription form for your ease of reference.
We also offer to be reviewed our latest Volumes , Volume 4 No. 1- In Celebration of Kamau Brathwaite & Volume 4 No. 2, we invite interested parties to contact us (me).
We look forward to hearing from you all soon and hope you are all as excited as we are with this new Caribbean Title!
Wishing you the best and hoping you share!
