Subject: Assessment Practitioners Group meetings 2011-12
Dear Assessment Practitioners
I am writing to let you know the dates of our meetings this academic year:
Friday 25 November 2011 at the University of Oxford at 10.30-3.30
We plan for this to include a tour of Oxford's examinations building and to hear more about how exams are organised there. The theme for the agenda more generally will be the organisation of examinations and it would be good to look at some practical issues like timetabling, phones, invigilation as well as some likely things coming over the horizon such as using computers in exams as a number of A-level exam boards are introducing on-screen tests.
Friday 9 March 2012, location TBA but likely to be London at 10.30-3.30
We will fix the agenda nearer the time for this meeting.
Please let me know if you would like to contribute to either of the sessions or have suggestions for topics that you would like to see covered.
Best wishes
Wendy
