Hello Eleanor,
we've had good experiences with
Stanley's(http://www.stanleysonline.co.uk/servcategories.php) when
digitising or capturing a range of obsolete domestic formats such as yours.
Although they don't specialise in public sector/archives (and we'd be
interested to find out who does when dealing with media like this) they
always seem to take great care, have a fast turnaround and are reasonably
priced (sounds like we're on commission!).
Players for all these formats are still available but you'll most likely
have to look to e-Bay for DAT players. Just a word of warning if you are
planning on capturing this material yourself - not all players are equal:
it's worth searching out higher grade 'pro' rather than domestic players.
Happy to help further off list
Stephen
