Finding archives: focus group spaces left
The National Archives is driving forward a wide-ranging review of its online information about the country’s archive collections and their locations (http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/news/627.htm). The Finding Archives review will work with users and contributors to the National Register of Archives, the ARCHON directory and other tools to develop a better understanding of their requirements, how these should look and operate in the future and what technical online solutions are possible to deliver this.
An online survey will ensure that everyone with an interest in the resources has a chance to contribute. We have also been working to gather a representative sample of stakeholders, including contributors, to take part in focus groups to explore particular issues in depth.
We have a couple of spaces left for the following workshops:
• Monday 7th November 1.30pm - Edinburgh
• Monday 7th November 1.30pm - Aberystwyth
If you would like to take part please contact DJS Research Ltd by Wednesday 26th October on email [log in to unmask] / [log in to unmask] or telephone Kate or Charlotte on +44 (0)1663-732721.
