I too would err on the side of caution for this one.

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] Aortic root surgery
Has anyone had any experience of rehabilitation to potentially physically demanding work following uncomplicated routine Aortic Root replacement and tightening of Aortic Valve via a thoroctomy incision. Having already referred to the RCS guidelines at http://www.workingfit.com/Surgery/CardiothoracicSurgery.html
I am looking at a case of someone in clinical healthcare training and am inclined to err on the side of caution i.e. 3 months before being put in a position where clients could lunge / grab at the individual or undertaking any manual handling or CPR type activities.
I would value your opinions as well please.
Regards
