Dear Peter,
In this instance, I must beg to differ if I may..
What I am thinking about is distinctly Mining History; succinctly so in as
much that it is definitely pertinent record. They are not just a pictorial
record of people - which just happen to be - they are a record of mines and
places within same - 99% are not accessible now, and most probably will
never be accessible again.
I would not dare to promote a pure commercial 'thing' on the List, since it
would indeed of course be most 'improper', but, an idea of a similar vol.
to Mr Ordish covering Weardale and the N.of England 1975 to 1990?
Will scrap idea without support.
Regards, Bernard

Bernard,
That is the sort of thing best done on the Web - good digital access
to photographs.
But, please, can those interested contact Bernard OFF LIST.
