What you are after? Sounds like you want something subtly different - i.e. a 'dither box' that exists on the dwell click software. Dwell click software would obviously be an option, but probably not as effective.
If not this is probably something you could write a macro for with AutoHotKey / AutoIt, with a bit of thought.....

Dear all
I'm working with someone using Smartnav, who is having difficulty keeping the cursor still, whilst clicking & releasing the (foot) switch.
I can't see how to alter the dithering box size on smartnav or to slow the "drag accept" time on Windows 7. Can anyone advise?
