I know nothing about your data, so it's a bit tricky to say what is
likely to be a better model for it.
For anatomical MRI, I would probably suggest the Dartel toolbox as
described in the SPM8 manual (or for those more adventurous people,
the Shoot toolbox). I certainly would not suggest using the Normalise
button (which I would only ever use with PET data).
