Tickets are still available for our forthcoming debate 'We've never had it so go? Food and diet in the UK' being held on the 21st September from 6.30-8.30pm in the British Library Conference Centre
Professor Peter Jackson and Dr Wendy Wills will be discussing how food and diet is portrayed in the UK media, how members of the public make sense of seemingly contradictory information with regards to food scares, recommended limits on consumption, disputes about fair trade and food miles and how we deal with anorexia and obesity. The debate will be chaired by Sheila Dillon, presenter of the Food Programme.
