3rd Workshop on Complex Networks
Melbourne, Florida, USA
March 7-9, 2012
http://2012.complenet.org/
Description
-----------
The 3rd international workshop on complex networks (CompleNet 2012) aims
at bringing together researchers and practitioners working on areas
related to complex networks. In the past two decades we have been
witnessing an exponential increase on the number of publications in this
field. From biological systems to computer science, from economic to
social systems, complex networks are becoming pervasive in many fields
of science. It is this interdisciplinary nature of complex networks that
this workshop aims at addressing.
Authors are encouraged to submit previously unpublished papers/abstracts
on their research in complex networks. Both theoretical and applied
papers are of interest. Specific topics of interest are (but not limited
to):
-Models of Complex Networks
-Complex Networks and Mobility
-Structural Network Properties and Analysis
-Complex Network in Technology
-Complex Networks in Biological Systems
-Social Networks
-Search in Complex Networks
-Emergence in Complex Networks
-Complex Networks and Epidemics
-Rumor Spreading
-Community Structure in Networks
-Link Analysis and Ranking
-Geometry in Complex Networks
-Shocks and Bursts
-Network Evolution
-Networks as Frameworks
-Synchronization in Networks
-Applications of Network Science
Publication
-----------
Original papers/abstracts in the above-mentioned and other related areas
will be considered. Each submitted paper/abstract will be fully refereed
and undergo a double-blind review process by at least two referees.
Accepted papers (not abstracts) of registered authors will be published
in the workshop post-proceedings to be published by Springer-Verlag as
volume of the series of Studies in Computational Intelligence.
Accepted abstracts of registered authors will be presented at the
conference but their abstract itself will not be included in the
Springer-Verlag book.
Instructions for Submissions
----------------------------
Submit your paper/abstract electronically in PDF format. Neither
hardcopy nor fax submissions will be accepted. Submissions should be
printable on a standard printer on common paper formats such as A4 or
letter.
Submitted papers/abstracts should follow the Springer format (please
visit website for more details).
Abstracts length should not exceed 2 pages.
Papers should not exceed 12 pages in this format. Some works may be
