Hi
I am fast approaching the scary end of the PhD tunnel and urgently need participation in an online study to categorise emotional faces. The information sheet is contained

Any help would be much appreciated and feel free to send your survey links on to me too.
Thanks

Subject: Free advertising for your psychology study.
Hello,
This email is about 2 things.
1) Information about a free way to advertise your study.
2) A call for volunteers for two online studies I'm running.
Number 1:
Psychstudies.co.uk is a website I've created as a 'hub' to online psychological research. It's free to add your study, and everyone has an equal chance to have their study seen as the front page randomises the studies shown each visit.
You also don't have to worry about inactive studies being shown over yours. Each study has an expiry date and is removed when data collection has finished.
Currently we have 21 studies on the site for universites including Oxford, Cardiff, Bristol and Swansea. To date we average around 500 unique visitors to the site per month.
There is no charge for advertising, and there is a submission form on the website. However, it would be nice if people did one or two of the advertised studies before submitting their own.
Number 2:
Speaking of studies I am currently running two online ones which could use some participants. They are both interesting and pretty short. Below are links and descriptions.
Study #1 - 15 mins (18-25 year olds only)
http://www.psychstudies.co.uk/5/
Individual differences in media perception.
Involves answering questions about a newspaper article and looking at pictures of the opposite sex.
Study #2 - 20 mins (Anyone 18+)
http://www.psychstudies.co.uk/HF/
Anxiety, personality characteristics, mood, and family functioning
Involves completing a short series of questionnaires about your family and yourself.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hope to see you all at PsyPAG 2011!
Andrew
