We have two job opportunities in the Regional Programmes Team at the British Science Association:
National Science & Engineering Week Project Manager, full-time fixed-term contact. Maternity Cover.
Salary: £21,210 to £24,000 per year depending on experience
The National Science & Engineering Week Project Manager is responsible for implementing and delivering National Science & Engineering Week (NSEW). The NSEW
Project Manager will manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project, oversee quality control throughout the life cycle of the project, ensure key milestones are met, and also coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver the project according to plan.
Closing date, Tuesday 27th September, 5pm. Interviews will be held on 7th October
Scotland Regional Officer, part-time permanent contract.
Salary: £19,695 to £21,000 per year (FTE) depending on experience
Based at Glasgow Science Centre, the Regional Officer will provide strategic support and expertise to seven British Science Association Branches in Scotland and also act to promote National Science & Engineering Week within this region. The Regional Officer will also work at raising the profile of the British Science Association and undertake activities in line with British Science Association objective: ‘connecting science with people: promoting openness about science in society and affirming science as a prime cultural force through engaging and inspiring adults and young people directly with science and technology, and their implications’.
Closing date, Thursday 29th September, 5pm. Interviews will be held in Glasgow on 10th October.
