Three new IEEE journals are coming to IEEE Xplore in 2012, which brings the total to 154 IEEE journals in IEL:
IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine
IEEE Electromagnetics Compatibility Magazine
IEEE Wireless Communications Letters
IEEE will also publish two new English-language journals from Tsinghua University Press and Beijing Institute of Aerospace Information in China. They were previously published by Elsevier and will be available in IEEEXplore in January 2012. Elsevier will no longer publish or host these journals.
Two new IET journals in Communications and Power are coming to IEEEXplore in 2012. IET Biometrics focuses on the growing field of biometric recognition and technology, while IET Networks is aimed at all aspects of communication networks, architectures, and topologies.
New 2011 IET Journals are now in IEEE Xplore:
IET Electrical Systems in Transportation: Focuses on all aspects of electrical power systems in modern transport applications including generation, storage, distribution and utilization.
IET Wireless Sensor Systems: Aimed at the growing field of wireless sensor networks and distributed systems, which has been expanding rapidly in recent years and is evolving into a multi-billion dollar industry.
IEEE Xplore Surpasses 3 Million Documents!
On 30 August, IEEE loaded its 3 millionth article into the IEEE Xplore digital library.
IEEE Xplore content has grown exponentially over the past several years, hitting 1 million in 2004, 2 million in 2009, and 3 million in 2011.
