Hi Pat
Here at Loughborough we have recently acquired Incites and found ourselves pretty swiftly embroiled in pulling off some detailed citation information for a particular research group putting together a research proposal. It was a lot of work and I'm not sure we could offer such a gold-plated service to every research group putting together proposals. We get a number of enquiries from individuals, however, looking to calculate their h-index, investigate open-access journals with Impact Factors, and demanding citation information to support applications for prizes, jobs etc, that we can handle with SCOPUS, Scimago, WoS, Pop and friends.
All the best,
Elizabeth

Subject: Library support for bibliometrics
I was very interested in the discussion earlier this year about the bibliometrics training offered by libraries. Apart from face to face training and online resources does your library offer any other types of bibliometrics support? For example, do you calculate their h-index for researchers? If so, what is the job title of the staff who provide this service?
I'm happy to collate any responses for the list.
