NEWCASTLE UNIVERSITY
SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE, PLANNING & LANDSCAPE
PROFESSOR OF TOWN PLANNING
We are looking for an outstanding scholar at the professorial level to complement and expand the skills and experience in the Global Urban Research Unit (GURU).
We are particularly interested in candidates who can continue the tradition of theoretical understandings of planning and related fields related to this established Chair, previously occupied by Patsy Healey and Jean Hillier, and who can make a significant contribution to the University’s societal challenge themes of sustainability, social renewal or ageing. You will need to have achieved international recognition and be able to demonstrate the ability to develop internal collaborations.
Candidates wishing to discuss this post may contact: John Pendlebury, Head of School, 0191 222 6810, [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> or Geoff Vigar, Director of GURU, 0191 222 8338, [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
