The Department of Asian Languages and Civilizations at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a non-tenure-track appointment as Senior Instructor in Chinese language, to begin January 2012. Requirements include the Ph.D. in Chinese language, linguistics, pedagogy, or other related discipline; experience teaching Chinese at the university level; and evidence of successful administrative experience in managing/coordinating a Chinese language program. Experience supervising teaching assistants is preferred. Applicants should submit a letter of application, a current CV, copies of syllabi of courses taught or proposed, and three letters of recommendation.
