This is a unique opportunity to work on the extensive archives of Edinburgh College of Art. You will have responsibility for managing, assessing and improving the provision for archives and manuscripts currently held by ECA. This will include archival appraisal, dealing with immediate listing/cataloguing and preservation tasks and responding to enquiries. You will have an honours degree, a professional qualification in archives management and two years experience as a professional archivist. The ECA collections project will make recommendations for the future development of the collections, so experience of working with corporate university archives will be advantageous.
The ECA Collections Project is funded by the Scottish Funding Council.
This post is part-time, 3 days per week (21hours), and is fixed term for one year.
