We wish to appoint an experienced statistician in the UK to support the global oncology drug development portfolio. Working in a matrix team, the successful candidate will plan, manage and analyse oncology trials primarily for molecules in Phase 2 and 3. You will also assist in developing strategies for the project clinical development plans.
In addition we wish to appoint statisticians to support our global drug development portfolio.
Our statisticians partner with senior scientists in biostatistics, clinical, safety, epidemiology and regulatory on clinical development projects. You will provide input to protocols, develop the study statistical analysis plans, support the delivery of analyses and their interpretation. This entails effective collaboration with Data Management, Statistical Programming personnel and other clinical development support staff.
To be successful within these roles you will have:
* MSc (or equivalent) or PhD in Statistics or very similar area
* Some knowledge and experience of applying statistical methods to drug development
* For the oncology role, experience with designing and analysing oncology clinical trials is required
* Ability to process information, analyse data, and reach conclusions based on sound reasoning
* Ability to work in a global team
* Experience in using statistical software (particularly SAS, R or S-Plus).
