Salary £21,000 - £27,500 pa (depending on experience)
The UK Renal Registry provides an independent comparative audit service to over 70 renal units in the UK. Our primary objective is to publish data on standards of renal care in the UK and we are acknowledged internationally as a source of outcome data for patients in renal failure. The Registry statisticians also work with internal and external collaborators to produce analyses for publication in peer reviewed journals. A wide range of statistical analyses are undertaken including survival and regression analyses.

We are seeking an enthusiastic self-motivated individual to work with the expanding Registry team of 20 staff. Applicants should have a degree and/or postgraduate qualification in statistics. You will be joining a team of 3 statisticians. SAS is used for most statistical analyses although STATA and other software is also in use. Some experience of using a statistical programming package is desirable. Applicants will be required to perform statistical analyses, statistical software programming, extract complex cohorts from the existing data base and perform data validation and testing. The Registry has links with other statisticians in the Bristol area and elsewhere. Overseas applicants must have a valid UK work permit.
