Right;
I've updated our site BDII to use openldap2.4. This was taken
(indirectly) from the repos specified at
http://glite.cern.ch/glite-BDII_site/known_issues . As well as the
"openldap2.4" package, I had to install the "openldap2.4-servers"
package and (as you say) update /etc/sysconfig/bdii to use
"SLAPD=/usr/sbin/slapd2.4" and restart it all. The system seems to be
working OK - only time will tell if it does any good. Cheers,
