Subject: [g8-int] Work on transnational protest
Hi,
I am a graduate student in Politics at the University of Frankfurt and
the New School for Social Research and currently writing my MA thesis
on the transformative potential of transnational protest networks.
In order to collect a variety of impressions from global protest, I am
still looking for people who are or were active in organizing across
borders, especially in the context of G8, other international summits,
networks like PGA, campaigns like Block G8, or No Border camps?
If you want to share your experience in an interview and help me with
my research, or if you know somebody who could help me out, that would
be awesome! Any help is very much appreciated. Just email me

or put me in contact with your friends by forwarding this request.
Interviews would be conducted mostly over skype and fully anonymized.
Ok, sorry for using this list for this request, and
sorry for crossposting (!!!!),
but it would be really great if I found people from all over the world
for my interviews who frequently organized across borders in order to
get as wide a perspective as possible!
Thanks a lot for your time and help,
All the best,
Jannik
PS: This is not an attempt at infiltration ;-) or at producing
knowledge useful for power; questions will not be about any
organizational or factual details ? I?m rather interested in political
problem analyses and ideas.
