One stroke of light runs down a whole spine length,
repeating a pressure’s brightness over others,
overpoweringly; fire burns vision,
in, through, with excessive enthusiasm.
Which is hokum. There is nothing personal.
There is no transaction between the sky and earth.
Such exchange is not now within our love.
We impose avarice upon the engine world.
It’s much the same as yesterday with heat
while we are too excited frotting off,
expressing need, like dogs against chair legs.
Give us some leadership! we growl! Give us
a hand and wank us off, Almighty God:
we feel so much better when it’s done.
