Yes, I can confirm responsibilities for the archives sector will transfer to The National Archives in early October. We've been working hard on a number of essential behind the scenes activities necessary to make the transition happen, not least the time critical transfer of knowledge from MLA.
As some of you have heard, to support the change, we will be renewing TNA's web resources and will launch a new section of the website dedicated to providing information and guidance tailored to archives needs.
In the meantime for further information and updates, we're encouraging people to keep an eye on our website, twitter (@UkNatArchives) or our Facebook page.
