Jeremy
I'm not 100% certain about this chaps seating, but he seems to sit
rather vertically. My concern was then that the pressure on any
backrest might be small & variable.

Hi Barry
It sounds as if you have been offered some useful suggestions and I
would be
interested in hearing how you get on. I'm not sure why you feel that the
pressure mat would be such a problem regarding positioning though,
unless of
course he has a contoured backrest?
Cheers
jeremy
