Postdoctoral Position in Functional Neuroimaging of Adolescent Depression
A full-time Post-Doctoral position is available to work with Dr. Tony Yang, Department of Psychiatry, University of California. The post-doctoral fellow will work on a NIMH-funded research project to study depressed and healthy adolescents using BOLD fMRI, DTI, and ASL. Applicants should have experience with fMRI such as data acquisition, processing, and analysis. The applicant should have significant experience with MR image analysis including AFNI, SPM, R, and other methods. In particular, the ideal applicant will have extensive experience using AFNI for fMRI data analyses and significant programming expertise. Experience with writing grants and papers is highly desirable. Experience with neuropsychological testing is also desirable, but not mandatory. Applicant must be willing to live and work in the San Francisco Bay Area starting January 1st, 2012. Appointment length is for 3.5 years and has the potential to be extended to 5.5 years. Pay is based upon the NIH salary scale. The position is available starting January 1st, 2012, and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
